Terms and Conditions for Self Help Coach
1. Introduction
Welcome to Self Help Coach (“the App”). By purchasing and using the App, you (“the User”) agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). These Terms govern the use of Self Help Coach, a mobile app that provides access to courses, guided meditation, and habit scheduling tools. It also allows Users to store responses to personal forms and questions within their profile.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must discontinue use of the App.
2. Eligibility
To use Self Help Coach, you must be at least 18 years of age or the legal age of majority in your country of residence. By agreeing to these Terms, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
3. Services Provided
Self Help Coach offers the following services:
- Access to self-improvement and well-being courses.
- Guided meditation sessions.
- Habit scheduling tools.
- Forms that allow users to answer questions and save personal responses to their profiles.
4. User Account and Registration
Users are required to create an account to access the App. During registration, Users must provide accurate and up-to-date information, including but not limited to:

- Email address
- Payment information
The User is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account login details and is responsible for all activities that occur under their account. Self Help Coach cannot be held liable for any unauthorised access to your account due to your failure to safeguard your login credentials.
5. Subscription and Payment
Self Help Coach is available as a paid service. Upon purchasing a subscription, the User gains access to the App’s features for the duration of the subscription period.
- Payment Terms: Payment for the subscription must be made in full upfront.
- Pricing: All prices for the App are listed on the purchase page. We reserve the right to modify pricing anytime, but no changes will affect an active subscription period.
- Automatic Renewal: Unless cancelled, the subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle. You may cancel your subscription at any time before the renewal date.
6. Money-Back Guarantee
We offer an 8-week money-back guarantee subject to the following conditions:
- To be eligible for a refund, you must be a member for at least eight weeks and provide proof on your profile that you have completed courses one and two and committed to regular practice (at least four days per week).
- No refunds will be granted before the 8-week mark unless required by applicable law.
- Refund requests must be submitted in writing via our customer support email at support@openforwards.com within 14 days after the 8-week period has ended.
Self Help Coach reserves the right to reject any refund request that does not meet these conditions.
7. No Refunds Before the 8-Week Period
All purchases are final; no refunds will be available before the eight weeks. Users may cancel their subscription at any time, but the cancellation will only take effect at the end of the subscription term, and no partial refunds will be given.
8. User Responsibilities
By using the App, you agree to:
- Use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
- Provide accurate, complete, and truthful information when using the App, including completing forms and questionnaires.
- Not engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the App, such as introducing viruses or attempting to breach the App’s security.
- Refrain from using the App for any illegal or unauthorised purpose.
9. Data and Privacy

By using Self Help Coach, you agree to the collection and use of your data as described in the Privacy Policy, including any data you provide in forms or as part of your profile.
10. Intellectual Property
All content, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software associated with the App, is the intellectual property of Open Forwards Limited and Self Help Coach or its licensors.
- You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal purposes only.
- You may not copy, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from the content without express written permission from Self Help Coach.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App without notice or liability for any reason, including but not limited to:
- Breach of these Terms.
- Fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity.
Upon termination, you will no longer have access to your account or any data saved in your profile, and any unused subscription fees will not be refunded.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Self Help Coach and its affiliates, partners, and licensors shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the App.
- Loss of data, personal injury, or emotional distress resulting from your use of the App.
Our liability for any claim relating to your use of the App will be limited to the amount you paid for your subscription.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Open Forwards Limited, Self Help Coach and its affiliates, partners, and employees from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising out of your use of the App, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
14. Changes to the Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted within the App and, where appropriate, notified via email. Continued use of the App after the effective date of changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms and any disputes arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any legal action or proceeding shall be brought exclusively in the courts of England and Wales.
