This policy explains cancellations and refunds for:
- Membership subscriptions (via Mighty Networks + Stripe)
- Online training / courses (via Mighty Networks + Stripe, or other checkout where stated)
- Therapy, consultation, and supervision (paid via Stripe or PayPal)
- Institutional bookings (usually governed by institutional procurement terms and/or a separate agreement)
This policy should be read with our:
- Terms of Sale (one-off purchases)
- Subscription Terms (memberships)
- Therapy Terms (therapy/consultation/supervision)
A) Membership subscriptions (Mighty Networks + Stripe)
1) 7-day free trial
We offer a 7-day free trial for membership subscriptions (where stated). You will not be charged during the trial period.
If you do not want to continue, you must cancel before the end of the trial to avoid being charged.
2) Cancellations
You can cancel at any time in your Mighty Networks account settings (or via the relevant app store subscription flow if you subscribed through an app store).
Unless stated otherwise, cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you will retain access until then.
3) Refunds
We do not offer refunds for membership subscription payments, including partial months/periods, except where a refund is required by law.
B) Online training and courses (Mighty Networks + Stripe)
1) Refunds: default position
Unless a specific course page states a different promise (e.g., a money-back guarantee), we do not offer refunds once access to digital training has been provided, except where required by law.
2) Money-back guarantee (selected courses only)
Some training courses may include a money-back guarantee. If a guarantee is offered, it will be clearly stated on the course sales page and/or checkout.
Guarantee requests must meet the stated conditions, which may include (examples):
- completing specific modules by a certain date
- attending a required live component (if applicable)
- submitting a short feedback form explaining why the course didn’t meet expectations
- requesting the guarantee within the stated timeframe (e.g., within X days)
If a course does not explicitly state a money-back guarantee, it is not covered by a guarantee.
3) Course rescheduling/cancellations (live components)
If a training event has live dates (webinar/workshop cohort):
- if we need to reschedule, we will provide an alternative date or format where feasible
- if we cancel and cannot offer a suitable alternative, we will refund the event fee for that item
C) Therapy, consultation, and supervision (Stripe or PayPal)
1) Cancellation / rescheduling (48-hour rule)
- More than 48 hours’ notice: no charge; if you paid in advance, you will receive a refund (see admin fee note below).
- Less than 48 hours’ notice: the full fee is charged.
- No refunds are issued once an appointment has taken place.
2) Initial consultations
Initial consultations require payment in advance.
- If cancelled/rescheduled with more than 48 hours’ notice, we will refund the payment (minus any non-recoverable payment processing/admin fees, e.g., Stripe charges).
- If cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice, the full fee is payable and no refund is due.
3) Payment processing / admin fees
Where a refund is issued, we may deduct non-recoverable payment processing fees charged by payment providers.
D) Institutional bookings
Where an institution (e.g., university/organisation) pays via its own purchasing system, cancellations/refunds will be governed by the institution’s terms and/or a separate written agreement.
